STEPHEN DIXON  Normanno

Stephen was born in Middlesbrough. He has performed with a variety of societies on the Burnley stage ranging from Pantomime to Opera. He has been involved with Pendle Opera from its conception and his roles include Schaunard in La Bohème, Lindorf in Tales of Hoffman, Baron in La Traviata, Silvio in I Pagliacci, Monastatos in The Magic Flute, Lockit in The Beggar’s Opera, Zuniga in Carmen, Achilles in La Belle Helene, Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor, and Dr. Caius in The Merry Wives of Windsor. He recently produced The Marriage of Figaro for Pendle Opera and also took the part of Bartolo.

He has also played many roles with Burnley G & S Society, Burnley Light Opera and Burnley Pantomime Society and plays regularly with Burnley Garrick Club and Colne Dramatic Society including the part of Guy in Alan Ayckbourn’s Chorus of Disapproval.
